Nightflowers is the guest of this month for the podcast of MP Digital Records. Nightflower have already two remix signed on the label and present a weekly show Ways of consciousness on the french radio Paris One. He is used to present trance set but this one is more progressive oriented. Enjoy !

Bumble & ROmz - Spécial blend - Today know as Superslut after their successful participation on Great Stuff Compilation with their track Bulerias, Bumble & ROmz started their production with MP Digital Records and anngel records for the first release of the vinyl label. Today we choose to present this old minimal track made to please the crowd.

John Roya - décollage - A quiet and minimal track with a melody that will get stuck in head for a while.

Kemko - Altaïr - Everything is compressed in this track to the vibrating bass to the late coming melody giving the track a confined atmosphereMidea LiquidA very dark and down tempo track with echoes and reverbes which allow the auditors to breath after the intimate Altair from Kemko.

Ness - Escape - Before the release of his next ep balloon, the Italian producer Ness is present on this compilation with a bouncy and dancing track mixing progressive and minimal aspect.

Romz - night drive - When he is not working with Bumble, ROmz propose nice and intimate track. Night drive is an evocative track with a soft kick and a melodic melody to lull you till the end of the night.

This is quite a special released for MP Digital this time. Some well known artists supporting the label let artists from MP Digital roaster remix their best tracks. From the minimal of Monoroom to the tech house of Babicz going through the anthem of Codec & Flexor, you will discover the version made in MP Digital Records.

1/ Robert Babicz - Basic (Midea Remix). Midea slows and stripped down the original track and adds some nice effect in order to smooth it. The result is an enchanting progressive remix.


2/ Monoroom - Kling Klang (Mark Farre rmx) After the beautiful suprem on anngel, Mark Farré comes back with this powerful remix of the anthem of Monoroom Kling Klang. The bass line is fat and stirring and everything is here, from the deep masculine voice to the melody which gets lost in the infernal loops reworked by Mark Farré.


3/ Codec & Flexor - Do what you want (MP Digital rmx) The team from MP Digital presents a refine remix quite quiet keeping only the vocal and the melody from the original.

Le rmx de MONOROOM par Marc Farré est également très classe...très bon effet sur le dancefloor ^^ et Bonne mention pour le rmx de codec & flexor, mais peut être un chouillat trop deep minimal pour moi :(

Three times a year MP Digital Records get together some "drafts" or recently signed artists for a small compilation. The aim is to give a chance and promote some future name of the electronic scene.

On the Autumn 08 MP Digital presents three new artists on three totally different style and Spookiisly from MPDR057.

1/ Maxime Voizin - D zintox (6'54) This first track is half tech house for the tone and half progressive for the slow beat and the construction.

2/ Kreiss & GFP - Undermarket (9'08) presents a track "on the Cocoon style" a punchy but quiet progressive. Perfect for late night set with the melody coming late in the track and melting perfectly into the bass.

3/ Spookiisly - Distortion (3'48) After his successful ep, Spookiisly is back with a tech house track in the same spirit that the Electricity ep. A lot of synth, a groovy bass and rhythmic for this Distortion track.

4/ T.rex-sound - Destroy (outside mix) (5'54) A break up track that can be compare to the post punk of T.Raumschiere.

For the release of Mark Farré Supreme on anngel records, a remix contest have been open. Tons of remix have been reviewed and here are the three winners

1/ Original mix from Mark Farré (7'01) is the original track out on anngel 002

2/ Silviu Paduraru (6'03) starts his remix by adding an eastern guitar sample which will empower the track till the end. A short introduction, a break and here we go. The mix of the original melody and the guitar is just perfect, we have our winner !

3/ John Roya feat. H&S Remix (7'35) proposes an excellent minimal version with intense rise, complex rhythmic and surprising funky break coming from no where.

4/ Maxime Boiron Remix (9'13) The melody have been cut short and goes spinning again and again on this rugged track signed by a young French artist.

[MPDR058] Microcosm - Matador ep

Microcosm comes backs with a minimal and atmospheric ep. A great work have been done on the three tracks which combines delicates melodies and deep bassline. A perfect ep for opening or transition between progressive and minimal.

Matador (6'43) is the more complex tracks of this ep. After a long introduction a soft melody gets slowly in a weightlessness conditions on a stirring bass line.

Pomelos (6'00) There is practically no bass line on this track, just a single kick in opposition of the two other track. The same synth with a lot of reverb is used for the melody.

Dulce Sueño (6'19) is the darkest track of this ep and offers a well worked and reverb melody with a rhythmic and deep bass line.

[MPDR057] Spookiisly - Electricity

Spookiisly is a young french producer from Paris. Electricity ep is deeply inspired by the french touch movement. This ep proposes 3 dance floor oriented tracks.

Electricity (3'45) is a groovy and efficient tracks. Heavy synth, syncopated melody and various effects and gimmicks will rock your dance floor.

Electricity (Madstring rmx) (6'57) is more basic and Dj friendly with a long introduction. The kick and the melody are dry up and refine, the construction gets closer to classical house release.

Superphenix (3'40) is quite similar to Electricity with a clear distinct synth melody and groovy bass.

[MPDR056] Franck Delcassy - Save me again

Franck Delcassy is a young French producer who just joined the MP Digital crew. Save me again is a combination of several aspect of house music. From classic piano to synthesizer, adding female vocal and tribal drums. The result of this mix is three lively tracks dance floor oriented.

Save me again combines a classic piano melody and tribal percussion. This track can get along with any house set, its complex structure mix perfectly different melodies.

On I don't want to be a feminine vocal is supported by a synth melody. The results is a corrosive and explosive track.

Touch Me is more aggressive with a short and jerky melody and heavy bass.

[MPDR055] Viktor Leske - Divine ep

Viktor Leske comes back with his new ep Divine. After the atmospheric Army ep, the four tracks of Divine are more kicking.

Supported by Monika Kruse, Divine is a powerful track, mixing classic progressive with dramatical and theatral break.

Jewel refers to usual production of Viktor Leske, a very atmospheric track to please your ears.

Radioaktiv presents more aggressive sounds and a male voice whispering and a deafen melody

Sainclair is class is a complexe tracks with a stirring and acid baseline. The melody is a mix of synth and ethereal vocal.

MP Digital records organize the "SUPREME Remix contest" of the last release of ANNGEL Records "Mark Farré - Supreme". For the new ANNGEL Records (COMING OUT 12 September) the label MP DIGITAL Records decides to make a REMIX CONTEST, the winners will be on an Exclusive digital release on BEATPORT .

Yarden is an artist to keep an eye at. He already attract the attention of Trax magazin (a reference in France) only thanks to his myspace page.

Yarden compose a quiet and relax progressive music. This frenchman gets some of his inspiration from the german minimal mouvement, and is similar to the production of Border Community. It is on the label MP Digital that Yarden get his new ep out.

First and Magik fly (the two tracks of this release) can be listened in at home after a hard night out, or in the middle of a progressiv set. Both tracks can are well constructed with nappes superposing like in a Where do I beging of the Chemical Brother.

The atmosphere coming from this ep make one of the interesting things of this summer.
